Chick Development
While this topic might be a bit more technical it is however very informative and interesting. For a few weeks, I haven't looked at eggs the same way because they are much more than a breakfast option.
Here we cover what happens from the egg all the way to a chick including the reproductive systems for both hen and rooster, hen oviduct structure and egg anatomy. We also learn the technicality of the incubation of eggs and why is it crucial for chick development.
You'll be able to also identify whether an egg is fertilized or not based on specific physical characteristics. You'll also have a deeper understanding of the egg anatomy in a way that will keep you in awe.
Check this booklet of my notes for the laboratory course. It includes everything from both the theoretical and the practical work that was done regarding this topic.
